Hyatt Regency Maui expanded it’s sustainability efforts by implementing regenerative landscape practices, including natural pest control methods, a focus on cultivating native that thrive in harmony with the local environment, and on-site composting – nurturing healthy soil and preventing runoff that can harm coral reefs. A Genki Toss is a hands-on environmental activity where guests are invited to throw Genki Balls (or “mud balls”) into the water to help clean and restore marine ecosystems.
